I had to do a reintro on Advertising Mom's Network, so I thought I would post it here for all of you to read, so you will get to know me better. Here goes.....

Hi Everyone,
I'm Barbara King owner of A Mom's shop and Direct Sales Connection. I have about 12 websites that I have connected to A Mom's Shop. I started the new Mom's Who Sell network on ryze on Dec. 23rd. That was a Christmas present to myself...LOL.

Here goes, I'm rather a private person, but I'll tell you a little more about me. I am a retired programmer/analyst. I did most of my 'famous' work for some big corportations. I coded an accounts payable package for Mobil Chemical, and I put the birth and death certificates online for Health And Human Services in Houston, Tx. Those were bygone days.LOL..
That was just to show you I'm not stupid..

Today, here and now, I'm 58 years old, retired, and a widow. My story on the iternet began several months after the death of my husband in Nov. 2003. I had sooo much time on my hands, and nothing to do. My daughter was away much of the time at college. I didn't know much about PC's but I had this great desire to jump in with both feet. I coded A Mom's Shop from scratch. It has been online since September 2004. I've learned a lot in the last few months, and I have certainly found that "something to do".

My goals are to make a lot of new friends, and add a little to my income. I just love all the new people that I have met, each is unique with their own story. I give what I can back to the community. I'f you're a WAHM and broke, I'll put your ad up for free for a month.

I really would like for A Mom's Shop to be a place people could shop and find lots of products and shops operated by work at home moms.

I entered this new year with lots of anticipation and intend to do all I can to make it a successful year for all the WAHP that I meet along the way.
